Dan’s vows…my reaction? WTF lol 

The big change he talks about???? I don’t see it! Besides the fact that now he is madly in love with Blair.  But the rest? Actually no, I will be fair. Lets say he did change. He has let go of being judgmental of Blair’s world and has learned to embrace and appreciate the good qualities of this world. He is able to be himself now. It has helped his insecurity? And honestly…I am sorry but I cant think of anything else lol  BUT if you think you can give me other ways in which Blair has helped Dan find “his real self” and become someone he likes. lol Please let me know. 

Blair Waldorf biggest impact on ANY Gossip Girl character has to be the one she had on Chuck Bass. You cannot deny that. It has been a journey, not an easy one but when you look at Chuck Bass during season 1 and then you look at him in season 5 you see a different person. You see him go from a boy to a man. And if we have watched the same show for 5 seasons, you know that throughout this whole journey one person has been holding his hand…yupBlair Waldorf. Isn’t that what true love is? We fall in love with this imperfect person and everyone else seems to see a bundle of flaws…but we, we see a bundle of potential. Blair saw that in Chuck Bass. And SHE WAS THE ONLY one to see this, because he only showed her this side of him. And don’t tell me this is not true. From the very beginning. Remember the whole conversation about “define like” and the “butterflies”. The boy who didn’t believe in love, who made fun of it, the pig of the group, the devil…that boy feeling things? feeling butterflies? And he admits he is ashamed of that. Why? because it makes him vulnerable and weak. And Blair makes fun of it. But even after that….who was there at the end when Nate didn’t call? Chuck Bass. Telling her she was beautiful. That she deserved beautiful things. 

The journey of Chuck and Blair has been rocky, has been hard, painful…but oh so beautiful. It has been beautiful because you have this one girl…who is strong headed and who fights til the end for the one she loves. She fights in the only way she can…by supporting, by scheming, by simply being there, and now by giving up. But you never doubt she loves him. She loves him so much it hurts to see her suffer. When Bart died. Blair was the definition of pure and unconditional love. And it was then I knew he loved her too. He loves her so much. You can see it. It hurts how much he loves her. It hurts because you see this two young kids you have been through hell their whole life and they don’t know how to love. At least they think they don’t know how to love. But they do. When they just feel they are the most selfless lovers in this world. When Chuck is at the roof top and she comes there and she doesn’t care that she is Blair Waldorf…she begs him. She begs him not to do anything to himself, because it would kill her. And you see him be hurt by the fact that he is hurting her and he gets down and at the point…you know he doesn’t care about his pain…he tells her he is sorry. He is sorry he has hurt her. And she just hugs him. It is such a wonderful scene. It makes me tear up every time. Because even when he is completely destroyed and hurt…he still loves her. And this is shown again when he goes see her during Elenor’s wedding. Ah Blair…you see her go into her room with so much pride. Ready to establish her Queen B status with this Basshole, but she can’t. He is sitting there. Broken into pieces and you see it in his face. And she goes and doesn’t say anything just holds him. Blair holding Chuck together. She will always be there. She will never let him go down alone. Her pride doesn’t matter she loves him and she will do anything for him. And when he leaves…and leaves that note?NEVER TELL ME CHUCK BASS IS NOT SELFLESS. The Boy IS BROKEN. BROKEN. And he still puts her before his pain. He leaves knowing he loves her…he leaves her knowing she is the only one that can console him. But he leaves because HE KNOWS she DESERVES BETTER. Chuck Bass knows Blair deserves someone that is not as fucked up as he is. This is not new people. Chuck Bass never thought of himself as someone worthy of Blair. But he can’t help loving her. 

Blair has seen sides of Chuck no one has, she inspires him to be a better person. I am sorry she doesn’t inspire him to write a book in which she is the muse and perfect while everyone else is being ditched. Blair inspires Chuck in a better way. Blair inspires Chuck in life. For this reason, she is in fact Chuck’s muse. She inspires him to want to be the person she deserves. Please, Dan’s vows….nothing on Chuck’s best man speech…need I point out it was inspired IN THE MOMENT…JUST BECAUSE SHE WAS THERE IN FRONT OF HIM. He didn’t need more. Why did he run away at the end of season 1? Because he was not the man Blair deserved. He was scared of her realizing he is imperfect and not worthy of her, just like everyone else in his life has. Season 3 before they screw over his character. She inspires him….She shows him she cares about him..ONCE AGAIN…and gives him confidence. She believes in him and THAT IS ALL HE NEEDS TO RISK IT ALL. Can you imagine that? having someone in your life that with simply believing in you gives you the courage to risk it all on your own. Even when everyone thinks you have lost your mind? But You don’t care. Because all that matters is that that person believes in you. Yup, thats what Blair does for Chuck. Blair giving him the reassurance that he is not like his father in the hospital scene? BEAUTIFUL. Beautiful in SO SO MANY WAYS. You see him become completely vulnerable. He is in the floor haunted by all the memories and fears that Bart brings out in him. And she is there. She is his light. She tells him she believes in him and that he carries her. And the way they just hug and he kisses her cheek. It is beautiful. 

And season 4 and 5. Never tell me Chuck Bass is not selfless. He is knows he has made mistakes. Not only that but I think he has not forgiving himself for them, and this brings out more darkness. But season 5 when he has hit rock bottom and he decides he needs help. Ah I love him, when he goes and apologizes. No….before those shippers beging bashing and saying “of course apologies change that he traded her for the empire and he was abusive etc”. No. Not for those reasons. But because this is HIS FIRST HONEST TRUTHFUL HEARTFELT apology. Why? Because for the first time. Chuck Bass is apologizing without expecting her to come back to her. He just wants her to know. He is really sorry. And I think he can now let go of all the pain his choices have caused him and he can finally become that wonderful man he has always been. 

And now….DON’T YOU DARE TELL ME HE “OH LOOK AT HIM HE IS BAD ALWAYS WAS BAD. HE WILL NEVER CHANGE. HE DOESN’T LOVE HER. WHY IS HE STALKING HER? EW CHUCK GIVE UP. SHE DOESN’T LOVE YOU. DAN IS BETTER. DAN IS SELFLESS.

FUCK NO HE IS NOT! CHUCK BASS IS GOOD. YES I SAID THAT. HE IS GOOD. HE IS SELFLESS. HE IS MORE SELFLESS THAN DAN HUMPHREY. WHY? DAN HUMPHREY simply gave up on TRYING TO LET BLAIR KNOW HOW HE FEELS. CHUCK BASS? CHUCK BASS LET BLAIR GO…HE LET HER GO WHEN HE WAS WELL AWARE THAT BLAIR LOVES HIM. HE LET GO OF A LOVE THAT IS MUTUAL. 

Do those shippers…even understand how hard that is? To let go of someone who you love with all your heart. THE ONLY person you have ever love. The only person you know you will ever love. The only person that you want. To let them go WHILE being full aware that they feel the same way. DO not GIVE ME CRAP ABOUT CHUCK IS NOT SELFLESS. BECAUSE THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF SELFLESS. CHUCK BASS DIDN’T HAVE TO TRY TO CONVINCE BLAIR TO LOVE HIM. HE KNOWS SHE DOES. And he still did it. For Chuck Bass it WAS NEVER A “WHAT IF”…..NEVER. 

So please, if you want to Bash Chuck Bass. Go ahead. To each its own. But I am tired of him being put as the villain over Humphrey all the fucking time. Because he is not. 

And on him going back to who he used to be. I AM SORRY, BUT I WOULD TOO!!! IF THE LOVE OF MY LIFE TOLD ME SHE LOVES ME, NEVER WANTED TO LET ME GO, LOVED EVERY PART OF ME, WANTED TO SPEND THE REST OF MY LIFE WITH ME…and then decided to change her mind without and explanation…and simply tell me to move on. 

I apologize for my long Text posts…but ugh. I just get so frustrated with all the Chair Bashing and Chuck Bass Bashing fest. It is getting old. DO NOT DEFEND YOUR SHIP BY BASHING MINE. FIND REASONS WITHIN YOUR SHIP. If your reasons come from the flaws of my ship…and not the beauty of yours…then maybe you need to reconsider. 

Chair shippers….just believe in Chairytales. Beauty and the Beast style <3 <3
